Xbox 360 Hardware Price Drop Again (rumor)

Some information from a purportedly reliable 'mole' within the ranks of Microsoft's gaming division.

Early Sept price reduction on X360 hardware:
* Arcade (no hard drive) to $199
* Pro (60GB) to $299
* Elite (120GB) to $399

If this is true it's crazy that the core version is even cheaper than the Wii. I don't think people will be getting that one so much though, since it doesn't have a hard drive.

If you're looking to get a 360 (or PS3, for that matter) for free, take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on. There are less than 200 entrants so far, and if you win you get the system of your choice, a copy of Rise of the Argonauts, a year's supply of 6 Hour Power energy shots, and more. All you need to do is design a 6 Hour Power t-shirt. Check out the contest details here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview

If you enter, let me know and I'll be glad to vote for your design. Good luck to those entering. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
